    Special Considerations or Warnings

Warning: This resolution requires advanced knowledge of your network. Contact your system administrator for assistance.

Note: This solution includes information and procedures for a non-Sage Timberline Office software product that are not supported by Sage Timberline Office Support. For assistance, contact the appropriate software vendor.

    Solution

Start > Run and type wmimgmt.msc. Select Action > Properties.

If you receive an access denied error, you do not have the correct permissions to access the WMI console. Either log into the machine as an administrator or contact your system administrator to reset your permissions.

If you receive an WMI: Could not be found error:

At the command line, type net stop winmgmt. You may get a warning that other services need to be stopped as well; type Y and continue.

Open Windows Explorer and go to the folder called %SystemRoot%\System32\WBEM\Repository.

Delete that folder and everything in it.

    Reboot the system normally.

On the next login, open a command prompt and type the following commands in this order:

    winmgmt /clearadap

    winmgmt /kill

    winmgmt /unregserver

    winmgmt /regserver

    winmgmt /resyncperf

    Restart the installation

If you receive the error: Failed to connect to local computer because Interface: class not registered.

Use the WMI Diagnosis Utility to determine what files need to be registered. For example:

    regsvr32 %windir%\system32\wbem\FASTPROX.DLL

    regsvr32 %windir%\system32\wbem\WBEMPROX.DLL

    regsvr32 %windir%\system32\wbem\repdrvfs.dll

    Relaunch Sage System Verifier.

Note: If all fails, another option is to either reinstall or upgrade Windows.
