Charge Register

SOLVED

Hi - I'm trying to complete CAM/NNN Reconciliations.  I am wondering if there is a report that will display Lease Charges (ideally by account) and subtotal the charges for a given date range (all of 2013).  Please helpSurprise

Hi and thanks for your post!

When you say "ideally by account" do you mean by lease account or by GL account?

If you mean lease account, the closest report we have is PM Reports > Management > Tenant Activity Report. You can add a condition for the Charge Type. If you have multiple charge types, then you would need to run this report for each Charge Type so you can get the totals that you need.

Other than that, you may need to have a custom report created so that it will be grouped, sorted and totalled the way that you need it. You can check with your Channel Partner/Consultant about having one created.

Another good resource is TUG www.tugweb.com.

    I hope this helps.

Hi April - thanks for the quick response.  I'm not sure how to reply to your message, so I'll do so here in the answer box.

To clarify, I mean by GL Account.  The condition list does not seem to include my GL accounts, and frankly, I don't understand most of the conditional values.

There aren't any existing PM reports based on the GL account so you'll need to have a custom report made.

However, if the GL accounts you need are assigned to specific Charge Types, we can go back to the Charge Type condition.

When you run the Tenant Activity Report, at the Print Selection window, click Conditions. Under Field select Charge Type, under Operator select Equal To, under Value enter the charge type (for example, CAM). Then click OK.

Print your report then you can run it again and condition using a different charge type. For example, if you also have Charge Types PTAX and INS, then run with the Charge type condition for PTAX, then run again using INS.

Although the GL Account won't be displayed, you should know which GL account it's for based on the Charge Type.

If you find this still isn't going to do it for you, then you can contact your consultant or our Professional Services Group at [email protected] about having a report created to fit your needs.

Thanks!  That's exactly what I did.  Now I just have to trust my accountants entries:)
