News for US Customers: 1099 and 1096 Paper form changes for 2023

Our partner with government forms, Aatrix, announced this year that they received approvals for printed 1099 forms and 1096 forms to be allowed to printed on plain paper. This means that you will no longer need to try to align with the red ink preprinted forms this year. You can now print these forms on plain paper to mail to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Check out Sage Knowledgebase article for Which forms to order for year-end or Aatrix's Knowledgebase article for W-2/1099 Paper Specifications.

As always, for year-end type guidance we have our Year-End Center available 24/7.
