There is the replicate asset option inside the Sage Fixed Assets application which will copy the asset record and assign it a new system number. When you have as many copies as assets that you need to break up the lump sum asset you can inactivate the lumpsum asset and adjust the acquired value and depreciation accordingly on each of the assets. You can also just adjust the acquired value and answer Yes and Placed in service date on the two pop up questions and start the depreciation fresh with the replicated assets.
