Why does Gain/Loss turn to 0 after Period close is run for month?

So my user did a bunch of disposals for the month of May.  A few assets had a gain/loss from disposal.  She ran her depreciation and then Disposal report for May to verify all looked correct.  

She proceeded with Period close for May.  The other day she went in to rerun the disposal report and now the Gain/Loss for those assets are showing zero.  Why does this happen?

    Hello Tracey Needham,

    Was there any proceeds entered on these disposals that would have offset the net book value still on these assets? Was the Net book value on $0 when these assets were disposed?

    Any asset detail that can be shared so we can give better guidance as to what happened?
