I have a question regarding the Mask Field output. I understand that for custom fields the character limit is 25. Prior to the 2021 update, when I would upload data to a custom field that was greater than 25 characters, it would truncate the custom field output. For example, if  I uploaded the following data "FixedAssetVendor12345678910111213" to a custom field it would truncate it to be "FixedAssetVendor123456789" since that would be 25 characters, and the rest would not be included. Since the 2021 update, what ends up happening if I upload data to a custom field that is greater than 25 characters, it doesn't truncate them. Instead it includes the entire data set, but then replaces the output on my reports with a " * " .

Is there a way I can tell sage to continue truncating or any options related to changing this?
