Not Letting me Adjust Beginning Accumulated Depciation

Hi!

I am having a hard time adjust beginning accumulated depreciation in an asset. I am trying to force Accumulated depreciation as our GL is off compared to Sage since we had a ransom ware attack. For some groups of assets it wont let me change the Beginning Accum or Beginning Date, YTD in the section above the blue text under internal assets. Does anyone know why? I was able to update this in another group of assets but not this one...

    Hello AssetsAreMyJam,

    You cannot enter a Beginning YTD or Accum until there is a Beginning date for those values to be applied, but I should point out - assets without beginning information are not just going to change because you had to restore from backup.

    You sure you have depreciation ran through the correct date to match your GL? The through date on that asset being June and this being November
