Period Close Processing Exception Error

Question

New user to Sage Fixed Assets here and I'm trying to close the fixed assets for a period period and I'm getting an error that says, "Closing Date does not match the Sage Fixed Asset ending date." There is a list of assets on the exception report. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Hello Robin Hood, 
 A Period Close is a copy of the current depreciation information into another set of fields. To set a Period Close to some date other than the current through date is not possible. You would first need to run depreciation back to that prior date then set Period Close.
