Need Assistance with Custom Import Map - Have PDF of completed Map, cannot create .imp file

SUGGESTED

As I said in the discussion prompt, I am trying to build a custom import map file for my company, and when I click "Save Map" no pop-up appears for me to actually save the map.  It did, however, let me print the map to PDF.  If someone could go in and create the .imp file for me and attach it here, that'd be fantastic.  If someone volunteers for this, I'll attach or send the PDF however is easiest.

Thank you, Sage Community!!

    Hello Nick,

This sounds like an issue with user access to the hard drive of a remote system, or maybe Citrix is just not allowing the Save As dialog to display through your remote session. In either case that you be something for someone who has direct access to you server to sort out.

Hi Nick. This is happening to me right now, after clicking on Save Map no pop-up dialog appears, just wondering in case you were able to save the fields map, how did you fix it?
    Thanks.

    Hello Mario R,

I just really need to know where the Client is installed before answering since Local or Remote Installations have very different answers.

Hi Delray. The client is installed in a Windows Server 2003 platform. As a work around we installed the client in a computer with Windows 7, in which this "Save Map" button worked correctly, so the .IMI file was created there and transferred to the server to be used every time the user needs to import assets. This will work for us because the fields map will keep the same layout for a long time. Anyway if you already have the solution to this situation in server 2003 I'd appreciate you could provide it to me.
    Thanks!

    Hello Mario R,

Well, it could have something to do with the fact we have not supported or tested on Windows Server 2003 for at least 3 versions now, but it is just as likely that the XML file for the program is messed up. I would suggest to delete the XML file, and the client will replace it the next time it opens:

    1. Close the Sage Fixed Assets - Depreciation Network or Premier Depreciation.
    2. Delete or Rename the FASACCT.XML (Depreciation Network) or ASSTACCT.xml (Premier Depreciation) file from the programs installation directory

The Default location for a clean installation into a 64-bit system is:

      C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage Fixed Assets\Depreciation Network\FASACCT.XML
      C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage Fixed Assets\Premier Depreciation\ASSTACCT.xml
