Tracking Monthly Depreciation

SOLVED

Does Sage have a file where it stores the depreciation of an item for each month????

I'm trying to pull data from Sage and using it in a business intelligence dashboard.

The program only stores the information as of the last time depreciation was run for the assets (Current Thru information in asset detail).

Either calculate depreciation for each month needed to get the monthly depreciation calculation, or without running depreciation, run the Monthly Projection report.

The latter option only shows period expense and YTD depreciation, but can be drilled down on an asset-by-asset level.

    To run monthly projection reports:

    1. Go to: Depreciation, Monthly Projection.
    2. Select the desired Group, selected the desired Book, select Other Date, enter the desired Year for Report (Note: Month and Day will not effect the report), click Run Report.

Note: The drill-down function is available with this report. To view the details for a specific month while viewing the report on the screen, double click on that month, and a tab with the date of the end of that month will appear with a line for each asset that is a part of that month total. Click on Preview tab to go back to summary of monthly projection.

Note: The drill-down option is available on many reports. When hovering the mouse over sections on a report, the drill-down option is available for sections where the curser changes from an arrow to a magnifying glass.
