Missing buttons is usually some form of the Windows scaling issue, please see Windows Scaling issue for the answers.

thank you- I went through the steps and do not see the Execute button.  I am not sure where it shows up.

Do you see a Set Period and/or Cancel button? I am just looking at the Set Period Close dialog, and I see a Set Period, not an Execute button.

Yes, the Set Period is the execution button of the period close dialog. You can see that, right?
