Those reports are very different in their basic design. The Depreciation Summary will include prior year transfers and disposals which the Depreciation Expense report does not. See Depreciation Summary does not tie to Depreciation Expense Report for more information.

I thought the issue may be related to the period.   No matter, the depreciaion summary asset subtotal report is not listing all of the assets.
