Use the built-in utility to back up data. It can be located under File, Company Utilities, Backup Company. If you’re using the Single User or Lite editions of Depreciation, copy backup data to another medium such as an external drive or network location. If you’re using the Single User or Lite editions of Depreciation, don't store live data on a network location.
Depreciation Network and Premier Depreciation store their databases on the server. Your IT department may take regular backups, but you should also create local backups in Depreciation after year end and before making mass changes. This will reduce the amount of time needed to restore the database.
If you need to restore a prior year backup, restore to a new database. Restoring over an existing company is permanent and can’t be undone.
