Due to some pending questions and clarifications to the legislation, the 2023 updates for the California Pay Data reporting that is due May 10, 2023 will be released in a Sage HRMS Q1 2023 service release on April 20, 2023. If you have HRMS Payroll, the California Pay Data is available in the payroll module to be filed through Aatrix with the Sage HRMS Q1 2023 release.

The major changes for the 2022 reporting due in May, 2023 are the new fields for Mean Hourly Rate and Median Hourly Rate which we will be adding fields to Sage HRMS to capture the hours worked and then calculating the values for the new fields.

Please note that the Contractor portion of the reporting is to be filed separately. It is noted in the materials provided by the state agency that employers will work with the labor contractor organizations in preparing the reports such as providing or confirming data for those contracted employees.
