Deductions for 1/1/2020 - How will you make a mass update to HRMS if you haven't been tracking deductions in HRMS?

We have HRMS and Timberline.  We use a 3rd party for Benefits Open Enrollment and monthly maintenance and enrollment. 

Every year we have to ask IT to go in to TL and edit the benefits deductions for all the Adds, Changes, and Deletes for up to 14 different benefit offerings.  As we have grow over 450 employees IT doesn't think they should be responsible for manually updating the TL database.  

Is there a way to import the deductions into HRMS so that we can utilize the BAS push integration to update Timberline?

    Hi James!  Ask your business partner -- there is a master developer out there who has a Benefits Portal Interface. That can import benefits changes and export employee demographics to interface to your benefits portal. Then it is an easy push to Timberline. It's the same people who do the HR Actions product, so get your business partner to check into that for you! Then it can do life events as well as open enrollment, plus any new hires.
