Question:

Is a forms update required to make sure you have the latest year-end forms?

Answer:

Yes, especially since year-end is here and in the next couple of weeks customers will be working on Form W-2's.  If you are prompted for a Forms Update when accessing Aatrix Reports (for example running the W-2 Forms Report), a message may appear prompting you to update the forms.  It is best practice to select 'Automatic Update'.

Below is a screen shot of the message and an explanation on what each option will do.

Please note you will need internet access to generate W-2 forms and do the Forms Update.  Once a client has been updated, if another client accesses an Aatrix Report, they may also be prompted to do a forms update if that workstation is not up to date.
