When i run Sage 50, there is an attention of "require more hard disk"

SUGGESTED

I am a student who will learn how to use Sage 50 to make record.

I have installed the program using the document from my teacher, and try to run a sample company, when the processing of backup, the waring attention appear "The program requires more hard disk space before it can convert your date to the new version".

I have cleared almost 40G space in C disk, my computer system is Windows 7.

I personally have never seen this message before and I have never run the student version.  However, 40 GB available on your hard drive should be enough, but only if your file is located on the C: drive you are talking about.

If you have the files on a CD or on a memory stick, then those are the drives that are limited in space.  A CD likely can't run a file if you open the file directly on the CD.  A memory stick needs more than twice the hard drive space available than the size of the file itself.  Copy the file to the hard drive and try again.

I have seen some weird situations where a user's temp drive space or My Documents are redirected to a server for backup reasons and the server's hard drive runs out of space.  If you have this scenario, then it may not be your C: drive that is out of space but the server.
