Activation Student Version (2016) Key code

Hi all,

I already have a personal Sage 50 Pro (2019) installed on my computer but need to use the 2016 Superieur version for my classes (files are in Sage 50 Superieur) and cannot be open with the Pro version).

In the email I received with the activation infos, there is nowhere any Account ID number.

All I got was :

Clearly the Key Code is not what it should be

I know it is possible to have multiples version on the same computer and I don't want to uninstall my personal paid version to install the student version.

I followed all the steps on the website.

What can I do?

    Hi , 

    Apologies for the delay as we continue working to resolve an issue affecting receipt of activation codes for students looking to use Sage 50 Canadian Student Edition. Just sent you an email from [email protected] with 2016 / 2019 codes (missed the note that your 2019 is a personal full licensed version). Not sure if that would cause a conflict. 

    I did include steps on a clean up tool. If you can get the 2016 onto a separate machine, that may be the best option. 

    Alternatively, you should be able to open 2016 data files in your 2019 software to work with. Though I suspect this may be an issue for sending files for review by your teacher.

    Hi!

    Since my personal paid version is a "Pro", I cannot open the Superior files in it Disappointed

    Will try to install with the key code I received by email (thanks!!) and will let you know!

    Oh that's right... The student version's data is for the Premium edition of the software. Also note that the newer version installed will overwrite the shortcut for the application when you launch it. You'll have to launch the 2016 directly from its icon (on your desktop or in your programs menu).
