Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about this trouble locating data files. The publisher of each textbook has a different set of files, so you will need to contact the publisher of the book you are using and or look for a download link usually included with the book's online resources. Most likely this is where the data files you need will be found.  For more information, see the article titled "Inside the student version of Sage 50, where are the backups?" 

Note that our Sage 50 softare comes with a sample data base called "Universal". This is a default sample company file most likely not related to your assignments in your book. If you're sure the files are correct then support is available at 1-888-522-2722. Note that students may receive support for installation issues only. Complimentary technical support is not included with the Sage 50 student version, students are advised to contact their instructor for assistance. Hope this helps

If this is related to training resources provided by Sage University, please email the team at [email protected] with details of the course from the www.sageu.com website that you are missing resources for. 

If your course content is from a different source, you'll need to reach out to the publisher of the materials. Hope this helps.

Hi Erzsi,

I did email the Sage University team, and they said that there is no service available to help with the files. They gave me the link to here! So now I'm running around in circles to try and figure this out. I gave them my program, the sage that I'm using, the link in the exercise book (that was written by sage university) and they said they cannot help with the sage software, even though I explained I cant even get to uploading it in the software yet because these files are really missing.

Select the version year that matches your Sage 50 Canada software installed to avoid having to convert the files:
