Premium Version Backup Files

Question

As shown in the Appendix A, I have opened the Pearson web homepage for "Using Sage 50 2023" to download Data Files. I didn't have any problem downloading the zipped file, extracting and saving it in the C: drive for Premium Version Full Files but I couldn't do it for Premium Version Backup Files when I follow the textbook. I have tried several time but couldn't get it through. 
 Can anyone help me with this? Or it is okay for not having the Premium Version Backup Files on my computer as student?

Hi Dhondhen Derab , Thanks for reaching out. To ensure compatibility, please check if you're using the 2023 version of Sage 50 Canada Student Edition. Sometimes, data files need specific formatting to work with the student version. 
 For student-formatted files, consider these steps: 
 
 Verify your Sage 50 Canada version (should be 2023 or 2024). 
 Open a sample company to see if the issue persists. 
 
 If you still face problems, it might be due to the file format. The educational version of Sage 50, intended for teachers, can convert older student files to the current version. Reach out to your instructor or the publisher of your textbook for access to the correct files. 
 Remember, Sage 50 Canada Student Version users can obtain a 12-month version from Sage Education.
