Error Message: Attempting to Save a Record which has the Same KEY Data

When trying to save a new slip entry, I get the following error message: 

"Attempting to save a record which has the same KEY data found in another record. KEYs must be unique."

I have one license for Sage Timeslips 2015, but I use it with two users on two different desktops. We typically make sure that only one user is using the software at a given time.  User #1 can still enter and save slips, but User #2 cannot save any new time slips.

I have tried troubleshooting, by following these steps Customer Support suggested I try:

Resolution

This error may occur while entering information in Timeslips. To correct this error run the "Rebuild Data Indices" option in data verification. The directions below will walk you through this process.

  1. Make a backup
  2. Go to File, Data Verification
  3. Uncheck any options that may be automatically selected
  4. Select only the Rebuild Data Indices Option

The issue still occurs after doing this. Any possible solution to resolve the issue is greatly appreciated!
