Timeslips 2017 Hangs On Start

Hello, We have been using timeslip 2017 with no issue for probably a year but the other day all the pc's in the office are having the issue where we try to launch the program and it appears to hang trying to load the database.  If we let it sit for about 10 - 20 minutes it will eventually load the database but every click takes minutes to process.From our server pc which is really not a server but a windows 8.1 pc I can launch the application with no problem and it is responsive.I verified the database on our server pc it it was good. Port 4000 is open also.

We have been using it in it's current configuration for about a year.
Any Ideas will be greatly appreciated.

    Is Port 3050 open on the workstation? 

    If you bring the database directly to the workstation, does it open quickly? There are several possibilities but my top guesses would be anti-virus settings or malware or a networking issue. Since it just started I would guess that there was an update to your anti-virus that is causing problems or a windows update that caused some issue. 

    What operating system on the workstations? How many workstations? How much memory on the workstations? Have you rebooted the server and workstations since the problem started?
