"No data selected . . ." error in TS 2019.

I have been using TS for years. Just updated and have had no problems until now.  I have had this error in the past but I always found then that I had somehow selected "Do Not Bill" or somthing of the like. That is not the case here.  I have one expense slip that I cannot bill.  I have confirmed the client and date. I have deleted the slip and re-entered it. I have cleaered the filters and put them back in. I have run data verification with no errors found.  I am stuck.

Any thoughts?  Greatly appreciated.

Usually it is an indication that the filters are excluding the slip.  Look in the Billing Assistant and see if the slip can be selected in the check box next to it.

Also, is the prior bill in Revision?  If so, clear it and try again. You can't add slips to a Revision bill, but merely edit slips that are already on it.

Thank you for your help. This is the first bill for this client, and there is only one slip in it. I re-created the client, re-created the slip and re-billed it and it worked, so I am thinking that notwithstanding the data verification I ran earlier, there must have been something wrong with the client.

Thank you again for your help.

The only other thing that I can think of (too late, unfortunately) is that the 'Overhead Only' tag on the Contact Info section was marked.

But at least you have it resolved.  Thanks for letting us know.

    Roger--

As I am so curious to figure out why this has happened, I looked. That box is not checked.

I am really baffled as well because, as I said earlier, I have been using TS for nearly 20 years and have never had an issue like this that wasn't simply an accidental checked box.

Greatly appreciate your help.  Nice to know there is a community out here!!

    All the best.
