This might be a factor:

- go to Setup > Preferences

- on the left, choose Navigation Rules

- in the Field Navigation section, look at the "When moving into a multi-line text field" setting.

Thanks for that, I appreciate it.  I did set it up to have the cursor come after the word, but I am still getting to that box quicker than the words do and it ends up in front of the word again.  Never had this problem with previous versions of Timeslips, just sad it makes my work go slower.

You may want to also experiment with the setting re: Type Search in that same location.  Try tweaking it up/down, exit and restart between changes to see if that helps any. This a new setting that may be causing the delay.
