Hello,
We are using Timeslips 2015. We are planning to upgrade from Window 7 to Windows 10. Will this affect the software?
Candace
I use TimeSlips 2015 (single license on a network) with Windows 10 - we just upgraded from Windows 7 over the summer. Haven't had any issues running TimeSlips.
Thank you Julie. Just to make sure, the only thing you did with Timeslips was just back it up, correct?
The program files are on our network server. I had to make sure my license was not in use (through Station Administrator), then I did a local installation on my new workstation. Other than that, yes, always make sure you have a current backup!

Timeslips is just installed on my computer, so the license won't be in use anywhere else. When you say you did a local installation on your new workstation. Did you reinstall Timeslips on a new PC? We are just upgrading our current PCs. My concern was doing the upgrade on my current PC and if that would affect Timeslips.
I'm not sure how you will go about doing this. My installation is different than yours. I don't believe you need to do a local installation but I think you still need to make sure that your license is not in use via the Station Administrator on the old computer. Then I think you would reinstall TimeSlips on the new computer. Again, my installation is different; I replied based on my experience. I don't believe I can offer any additional information.
