Migrating SageTimeslips to new server

SUGGESTED

Hi all,

We are migrating Sage Timeslips to a new server for one of our clients tonight and they do not have an active support agreement.  The version of Timeslips we are moving is 2019 and it is stored on a network share.  Based on the documentation I have reviewed from Sage the steps should be as follows:

1)  Copy and paste the current installation folder to the new server.

2)  Rename timeslips.cfg on the old server to oldtimeslips.cfg

3)  Open Station Administrator on any computer locate timeslips.cfg on the new server and Clear All licenses.

4)  Modify each workstation to point to timeslips.cfg on the new server.

5)  Copy the database to the new server and register as network database if necessary.

According to the Sage KB articles this is all we need to do.  Could someone please confirm if there is anything we are missing?

Thanks for the help!

Sean
