No longer have ability to connect Timeslips and Quickbooks

My Timeslips is no longer connected to QuickBooks (which is now in Cloud).  I need a report or some sort of access to payment breakdown (like G/L Register) for manual entry in QuickBooks.

  • There are a few ways this can be done. The Payment Distribution report is probably the easiest way to have the list of payments with a breakout of fees, costs and interest. You would also want to run a trust transaction listing to pick up all the deposits to and withdrawals from trust.

If you need assistance with this, I would be happy to work with you.

I have a couple of issues that I could use your help with.  I haven't been able to determine how to get the breakout of fees and costs on either the Payment Distribution Report or the Funds Transaction Listing.  Also, with the G/L Register, it only prints out the most recent payments since the last G/L Register was run.  Now, I have to choose the dates to run.  When we enter a payment, we use the check date.  When I run the report for this month to-date, it does not include a check received today that was dated 12/31/20.  If I run the report 12/31/20 to 1/6/21, all of the 12/31/20 payments are included.

Funds report won't show a breakout because it is not broken out until applied, so that will show on the payment listing. For the payment listing breakout go into options and choose detailed format.

GL register you will need to choose dates if not connected to QuickBooks.

Month-to-date literally means THIS MONTH. Therefore, it will only pick up January.

Thank you.  I did check Options and saw that detailed format was already chosen, so then I chose yes on show payment distribution.  I still don't get any breakout detail.

What version of Timeslips? If older version perhaps it wasn't there, but I don't recall that. I think I would need a remote session with you to sort it as it works on my system. You could try re-adding in the report again as a new report but I have reached the limits of what I can do in a forum.
