Exporting Timeslips invoices to Quickbooks (Timeslips 2018)

Understanding this topic's been covered elsewhere, there is a lot to wade through and I think I might be asking for something simpler than what other people have been discussing.

I want to export our Timeslips invoices to Excel, where I would do some manual steps and logic, and then use that Excel spreadsheet to import to Quickbooks and have a record of our invoices in Quickbooks.

Nothing fancy. Only the information that would have been printed on the actual invoice that the client would have gotten.

Is there an existing template in the Timeslips Export function that will handle this? Or do we have to create a new one?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I feel like this is simple, and I do not want to consider another tool just yet.

There is not a template for this. You would need to create one through a report. What type of manipulation are you doing in excel?  Why are you importing invoices into QuickBooks and how will you be importing them? The TAL Pro link can be used on an accrual basis to bring in invoices. I don't recommend it due to the limitations of invoices and allocation of payments in QuickBooks but it can be done. Really depends on your goals and needs. To bring the invoices into QuickBooks you may need an outside tool like Transaction Pro Importer or similar. If you are interested in learning more about the TAL Pro link I can provide assistance with that. I have a guide I sell, although it is mostly focused on cash basis.
