TS 2020 - Changing Activity Code - Time changes to 0

We're running Sage TS 2020.  When we edit slips for one user & make a change to the activity code, the time defaults to 0 every time.  We then have to manually re-input the time.  We do not have this problem with any other users.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated! 

  • My first instinct would be to check the rate rules. That is very unusual spontaneous behavior. I.e., not a FAQ.

    Thank you Nancy.  Sorry for the very late reply.

    I have checked the rate rules.  I cannot find any discrepancy between this user or any of our other users.

    I ran an audit trail trying to capture changes made just by this user.  When I select this timekeeper as my filtered user selection, it returns ALL changes made within Timeslips for the date range selected.

    I am very concerned about corrupt data.

    Again, any input by anyone is greatly appreciated.

    Are you changing to an activity that is no charge or do not bill?

    No.  These are billable slips & we have no activity codes set up to be automatically no charge or do not bill, nor are these options selected in the original slip.

    I think either @Caren2 and I need to take a remote look at it since it is not supposed to do that. I don't think we are going to get anywhere on the bulletin board with it. This one needs "eyes on."

    Should just take a couple of minutes to get a sense of what is going on and see if we have any suggestions.  Beyond that, I cannot say/predict.
