Reprint Bills is Empty

Sorry for so many requests for help but I transferred my program to a new computer and now the reprint windows is empty.  I also am saving my file in One Drive so that it can get backed up.  Could either cause the reprint bills window to now be empty?

Dd NOT store Timeslips data on One Drive and try to run. You will get data corruption. You can do backups to one drive but the data should not be there.

Actually, I set up the data in a folder on my desktop which then gets backed up in One Drive.  I also set up the backup folder (from my desktop) to go to One Drive.  Do you foresee any issues with that?

Or I could probably store the data file in the C drive as usual but save my backups like you suggested.

    Two issues:

    1. If the backup of the data happens to take place while Timeslips is running it may cause corruption in the database.

    2. Depends on what version you are running. With BDE versions of TImeslips this is probably fine as the backup is just a zip file. However, you need to make sure no one is logged in to Timeslips and no lock files are open or the backup may not be good. With newer versions the best way to backup the data and be able to restore is to do a backup.

Got it!  I'm the only user.  I changed the location of the database to the C drive; however, it appears that I have lost my PDFs in the reprint bill section.  I still have the program on the "old" computer and am waiting to remove it until all is working fine.  Is there a way to locate them on that computer?

How did you get the data from the old computer to the new computer? Did you run database verification on the old system? Did you make a backup and then restore? To reprint are you trying to print to display or directly to PDF or printer?

If the reprint bills are not working there might have been some corruption and that most likely is not repairable. You can use history bills to recreate. Especially in the older versions, reprint bills could be "finicky" and I have seen corruption like this. Sometimes you can reprint directly to PDF but can not print to display. Without knowing more about how you moved the data and probably looking at it not sure there is much that can be done. The system doesn't actually store them as PDFs.

Are you saying that when you go to Bill | Reprint Bills, that the dialog does open, but it is empty?
