Time entry toolbar with client search shortcuts disappeared after I closed a window

Hello all, and thank you for taking the time to read this.

As mentioned in the title, I had a helpful little toolbar for client time entry, search, addition, etc. As I closed a maximized window, I think it closed the toolbar. A reset of program defaults, window defaults, and tinkering with general settings has been unhelpful. I really appreciate any and all help! Below is an image of what that toolbar looks like:

    Looks like you mean the main toolbar. Try this first:

    1) From the topmost menus, click on Setup, then Preferences.

    2) In the window that opens, click Menus and Commands, and make sure that over to the right, that "Show the main window toolbar" is checked.

    Test, you may need to exit the program and then relaunch with the new preference.

    If that does not work, then the more nuclear option is Setup, Preferences, Appearance, Restore all dialog settings to their defaults.

    Thank you for your thorough response and taking the time to read my question!

    I did try that -before asking the question, and after you brought it up as a fix. Oddly, when I click on the "Show the main window toolbar" checkbox and restart the program, the checkbox is retained, but the toolbar does not appear. Same issue with the nuclear option. I have been doing this remotely and may need local access. I appreciate your help!
