Printing bill crashes the session

Hi team

We have Timeslips 2020 installed on a server. Our billing user is experiencing frequent freezing of Timeslips when she attempts to print. Same issue for other users when they test. I need to kick them off the server and get them to sign back in.

Steps taken:

Default printer is "Microsoft print to PDF"

Recreated her profile on the server

On her Windows 11 device I have disabled UDP traffic, run dism and sfc scans and disconnected other peripherals

Any further suggestions? The freezing does not occur in any other window.

Hmm, that could be so many things....

Are you using any graphics, such as a logo, on your bill layout?

My suspicion is that if they are on the server via RDP that there is a preferences file issue.

Try the steps in this Knowledgebase article: Restoring Timeslips windows to default

You may also want to establish separate preferences files for each user using these instructions: Timeslips and Microsoft Terminal Services
