Reports

SUGGESTED

Is there a way to generate a master list or report to see if clients have been inactive for 3 years or more if they are not marked as inactive already? Not just individual clients, but a list for all clients in your database.

What would you consider 'inactive' for your clients? No slips unbilled? No balance owed? No trust balance? So many days since their last bill?

No activity, of any kind, in their account for over year.

Timeslips does not really do what we call "negative reporting." By that I mean produce reports for which there is NO DATA. Which is sort of what you are asking for. It is great about telling/showing you data that it DOES have, but not really what it does not have.

I would recommend a different approach.

When you have the Client List showing, RIGHT-CLICK over the names and choose Change Classification.

This will have Timeslips go through the chosen list of names and tell you if anything is "outstanding" for those clients that should be cleaned up before changing their status.

I don't know of a way to print that as a report, but I think it comes closest to what you are asking for here.

Let us know what you think.
