Sounds like the fields were removed from your bill layout. If you don't think anyone edited the layout, try making sure the layout you are using for this particular client is the one you usually use.
If fact I do think someone edited the layouts and now she doesn't know how to undo what she did...problem is I don't know I to fix it either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You don't say what version you are running, but generally speaking you need to go to the appropriate section of the bill and add in the fields. You click on the section and then drag a field from the right column listing the fields to the box on the form where the field should appear.
It is easier to show than to explain so you might want to work with a certified consultant like myself or one of the others that frequents this board. We can help remotely so distance should not be an issue.
If it is just putting fields back on the layout it should not take very long.
I can probably assist on Monday.
just another bit of information...the totals fields were removed from the Time and Expense Slip List so I can validate the totals from Timeslips with the timesheet totals. Extremely frustrating. Thanks!
Version 2013
Then the information above is correct. Again, it is not hard to do, but it is hard to explain as it is a somewhat visual process.
It sounds like it is a Slip List issue and not a bill layout issue.
First, close all open windows within Timeslips.
From the topmost menus, choose, Setup, then Preferences, then go to the Interface tab on the left and click on Appearance, then over on the right, click the long button that says: Restore all dialog settings to their defaults.
You may need to exit Timeslips and then come back in for it to take effect.
Then test by pulling up your Slip List and seeing if you have the fields back.
Hope this helps.

Nancy,
That worked! Thank you so much!

Good job Nancy. Always start with the simple!
This did not work for me. I cannot see the description listed with the date/time/tkpr. Any other options?
