IMPORTING FROM QUICKBOOKS TO SAGE TIMESLIPS HELLPP!

WE RECENTLY PURCHASED SAGE TIMESLIPS 2014 FOR OUR LAW OFFICE. WE USED QUICK BOOKS ONLINE PLUS AND IT IS NOT ABLE TO IMPORT DATA TO TIMESLIPS. I BEGAN MANUALLY TYPING IN EACH CLIENT, WHICH WAS WAY TOO TIME CONSUMING. WE CALLED SAGE AND OUR TECHNICAL SUPPORT HAD EXPIRED AND ALL THEY TOLD US IS THAT IF WE BOUGHT A FULL VERSION OF QUICK BOOKS THAT WAS A LOWER YEAR THAN OUR TIMESLIPS. BUT BEFORE WE GO AND BUY QUICK BOOKS 2012 I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO HEAR IF ANYONE KNOW THAT THIS WILL WORK? AND WILL OUR QUICK BOOKS PLUS IMMEDIATELY SYNC TO QUICK BOOKS 2012?

IF YOU ARE ABLE TO HELP WE WOULD SO APPRECIATE IT.

Since her Timeslips database is essentially empty, would it be worthwhile to turn on the link just to synch the names, and then turn the link off going forward?

    Hope this helps.

Could try it but the addresses don't always come in very well from QuickBooks, due to the way QuickBooks stores names. I generally setup names to go from Timeslips to QuickBooks and not back.

if they are good with excel formatting the fields correctly and importing might be better.

Of Course they could import and just leave them as they come in. The bills should print ok. As long as they don't want to get lists by city, state or zip fields the connection would work.
