Installing TS 9.1 on new server

SOLVED

We have installed a new server on our network and I need to install TS9.1 on the server.  This is the first server install in probably 9 years.  I have installed TS on various workstations over the years using the local install feature from the network folder.  We have moved the network folder to the new server and now I would like to run the install.  I have the installation disk but it is asking me to place the Timeslips Master Configuration Disk in the floppy disk drive.  I don't have a Master Configuration Disk (I'm pretty sure I threw out all the floppys a few years ago, (which I recall only v.9 floppy disks) since I had the installation disk).  Is there a way to get a Master Configuration disk or make one using the previous config file or network installation folder or can I just point the setup program to the folder with the last config file?

P.S. I know I should update to the latest version, but this is a stopgap until I can convert to using Billing Matters with my Time Matters program.

Unless you linking to something on the server, there's really no need actually install it there.  It just "hosts" everything for the desktops.  If you copied the entire Timeslips folder over, you should be good.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Nancy.  Will I need to re-install the local stations from the new folder or change the installation path in station administrator?  Since the new server has a different name, I'm just wondering how the config file is affected.

You 'may' need to clear all the licenses and let each workstation get a new one, but that's pretty easy.

You don't actually have to reinstall the workstation.  Much depends on your new pathing.  If you need to tweak the install path, then Station Administrator, Options, Change Install Path will let you point to the new location.

    Hope this helps.
