Hello,
I will be upgrading tomorrow. I am purchasing the 2015 version online. What are the procedures for upgrading? Are there any directions on how to do this correctly?
Thank you.
Candace
There are help files and instructions that come with the download. The procedures vary based on how your currently set up as well as your environment.
Thank you Marc.
I have the documentation and am installing. The installation completed, but I still have a window that says the Sage Timeslips 2015 installation files are being extracted to your workstation. The installation process will begin automatically. When I choose to cancel it I get a message "setup is still running; if you cancel now, temporary files will not be deleted. Cancel Anyway? Is it okay to cancel this?
This has been resolved.
After I finished the install I ran diagnose this computer. There are paradox issues. I selected fix and it stated "The files PDOXUSRS.LCK, PDOXUSRS.NET and PARADOX.LCK need to be deleted from various folders. Delete these files or reboot and run the diagnose this computer function again. Will deleting these files cause any problems

These are temporary files. Make sure everyone is out of Timeslips and then delete them.
I deleted them and I am still getting the error.
Not sure what error you are getting. The files might be in multiple locations like the server as well as the local computer and/or in the database folder as well as the program folder.
Beyond that, you might need someone to do "eyes on". Most of the consultants could provide some help remotely.
When I diagnose the computer it states: The files PDOXUSRS.LCK, PDOXUSRS.NET and PARADOX.LCK need to be deleted from various folders. Delete these files or reboot and run the diagnose this computer function again. I thought I looked everywhere. I will look again.
If you are running the diagnose from within Timeslips, you will always get that message, because you are in Timeslips. To test this, you need to run the Statadmn executable with Timeslips closed.
Prior to upgrading I ran diagnose from within Timeslips and I did not get that message. I just ran it without having timeslips open and I did not get the message. I am assuming that everything is fine then, correct?
Yes, you do not need to worry about the PDox etc files since you ran it outside of Timeslips without those errors.
