Billing Question

I am an attorney and I love Timeslips and its versatility.  For certain cases I need to generate and submit a summary of my hours for the court to approve my fee application on a case.  Timeslips is great for creating such a report, however, I would like to delete the actual charges next to the report.  I have been redacting the PDF but figure there has to be a way to simply not have that show up on the statement.  I have attached a PDF indicating what I do not want.

Also, and this would be even better - I would love to be able to print a summary of my time and my paralegal's time expended - something at the bottom such as this:

Total attorney time: 5.5 hours; Total paralegal time: 8.4 hours.

I have tried many times to figure out either or both of these problems with no luck.

If anyone knows and can help, I would be very appreciative.

Not sure if you are referring to a bill or to a history bill. However on either one you can setup a layout that doesn't show the charges. It is simply a matter of removing that field from the layout. Not sure what version you are using and giving instructions on editing a bill layout can be a bit tricky. A consultant can help you with this fairly quickly. Remember that if you make a change it applies to all clients using that layout so you might want to make a copy of the layout before you start, make the change and assign the new layout to the client that needs it. This applies to both bill layouts and history bill layout.

You can add a timekeeper summary to the bill layout to show something close to what you are looking for in terms of summary.
