Duplicating slip & copying rate

We upgraded from Timeslips 2010 to 2016 and used to be able to duplicate a slip, change the customer, and keep the same rate that was on the original slip. Now when I duplicate the slip and change the customer, the rate is defualting back to level 1 rather than copying from the original slip. Is there a setting for this somewhere?

That's pretty much how it is supposed to work. Rates are driven by the Rates tab under Client Information. If you are not getting the correct rate once you choose the Client, then I would review what you have set up for the Rate Rules on that client.
