When Quickbooks Pro 2016 is open, Timeslips 2015 crashes when trying to open.

I've been using Timeslips 2015 successfully with Quickbooks Pro 2013 on my Windows 10 PC. I just did a clean install of Windows 10, reloaded Timeslips 2015 and Quickbooks Pro 2013 and they functioned together with no problems. I then upgraded yesterday to Quickbooks Pro 2016 and now my Timeslips 2015 crashes when opening if my Quickbooks Pro 2016 is also open. But Timeslips 2015 opens on its own and shows a connection to Quickbooks Pro 2016 IF AND ONLY IF Quickbooks Pro 2016 is not open.  Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there a known solution?

First thing to check in QuickBooks is the preference to keep QuickBooks running for quick start up. Beyond that it may depend on a number of factors and would need more information about configuration like whete databases are and computer memory. I believe QuickBooks 2016 system requirements have increased.
May require eyes on and some testing.

Hey Caren: two things I thought of to check 1) should he check on multiuser mode in Quickbooks? or 2) change the link setting in Timeslips to let Timeslips know it should be linking with Quickbooks 2016 since it likely has an updated API?
