Important information: Sage is adding an extra layer of security

At Sage, trust is the foundation of our relationship with customers. We safeguard your security, value your privacy, and uphold the highest standards of data ethics. To continue to keep your business safe from cyberattacks and fraud we are adding an extra layer of security.

Sage will be automatically enabling and mandating 2-factor authentication (2FA) for all users accessing Sage products with Sage Account soon. We’re reaching out to let you know about the approaching 2FA mandate and how to get ready for it.

Key things to know

  • 2FA enforcement for Sage Accounting will occur on November 28th, 2023. From this date, all users will be required to set up 2FA to be able to log in. Please make sure all employees logging in to Sage Accounting are aware and ready for this change.
  • You can easily set up 2FA in 6 simple steps.  When you log in the product will give you step by step instructions.
  • When you set up 2FA in Sage Accounting, it is automatically turned on for all other platforms you access using Sage Account.
  • If you already use 2FA to access our platforms, there is no further action for you.
