    Hi

Thank you for reaching out with your query about converting your client from Sage Business Cloud (Sage Accounting US) to Sage 50 US edition. This process involves both setting up a connection for certain functionalities and exporting your data.

Exporting Data from Sage Business Cloud:

    1. Reports: You can export all reports from the Reports Tab as PDF or CSV files.
    2. Quotes, Estimates, Sales and Purchases Invoices, and Credit Notes: These can be opened and saved or printed as PDFs.
    3. Listings: For sales, expenses, contacts, products & services, and bank account activity, you can export listings as they appear on the screen, in CSV or PDF formats. Use the cogwheel icon to configure display columns and apply filters as needed.

Connecting Sage Business Cloud to Sage 50 for Invoicing:

    1. Connection Wizard in Sage 50:

      • Go to 'File' > 'Mobile Invoicing' > 'Set Up Mobile Invoicing Connection' in Sage 50.
      • Log into your Sage Business Cloud account as prompted and follow the on-screen instructions.
      • Ensure you're logged in as a system administrator in single-user mode in Sage 50.

    2. Support and Assistance:

      • If you face issues logging into Sage Business Cloud, reach out to Accounting support.
      • For queries about Sage 50 or the connection wizard, contact Sage 50 Support.

    3. Sage Expert Services: For specialized support, consider contacting SES for Sage 50—U.S. Edition Data Services at [email protected].

Additional Steps for a Smooth Transition:

    • Backup Your Data: Ensure you have a complete backup of all data before starting the migration.
    • Consult a Professional: Depending on the complexity of your client's data, consulting with a Sage professional or certified accountant is advisable to ensure a seamless transition.

Remember, while setting up the invoicing connection is one aspect, exporting and importing data comprehensively will involve handling various types of data as outlined above.

Hope this helps! If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Warm Regards,
    Erzsi
