Income Statement in two Parts (Some shows by Dimensions & Other by Account)

SUGGESTED

An income statement just like normal, but for some account show by program dimension, not account. All other rows would be by account.

    Hi  ,

Thanks for your inquiry about generating an income statement in two parts, with some sections displayed by program dimension and others by account. It sounds like you're looking for a way to customize your financial reporting to gain deeper insights into your business performance.

Sage Accounting offers a range of essential reports, including the Profit and Loss report, which can help you understand your business' income, expenses, and net income over a specific period. While the standard Profit and Loss report might not directly offer the split between dimensions and accounts you're asking for, using analysis types and customizing your report criteria might help you achieve a similar outcome.

To view more details about transactions that make up the values in your reports, you can use the feature to drill down into specific ledger accounts from the Profit and Loss report. This could potentially help you separate the data by dimensions and accounts by analyzing the transactions further. For more detailed instructions on how to run and customize these reports, including exporting them for further analysis, please visit: Essential Reports Guide and The Profit and Loss Report.

I hope this helps! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please let us know.

    Warm Regards,
    Erzsi
