We are proud to have made  Sage Evolution version 10 (which has now been released) compatible with MS SQL Azure 

You can access Evo version 10 from the Sage FTP site where we upload all our releases.

It is great that Evolution now supports MS SQL Azure. Does Sage maybe have the technical requirements or how to? We've tried setting up a new company but received an error (No default service level objective found of edition "GeneralPurpose"). I suspect it is Azure that requires the type of database that needs to be created (Basic/Standard/Premium). We also tried deploying our existing databases to Azure but that also fails due to Sage encryption on the tables and views.

I have unfortunately not a n answer to your queries above as its still very early days for us to support SQL Azure.

Therefore, please send your Azure queries through to evolution [email protected] so that a new incident can be logged and investigated by a dedicated consultant.
