Creating Kits in inventory

SOLVED

Hi again guys.

Our company sells educational goods to schools and suppliers. They pack kits in plastic bins containing several products. They are sure that we can create these kits on pastel as an item and it will adjust the stock of the items contained in the kit.

For instance, if there are 2 sticks of pritt in a kit, and there are 5 pritts in stock....then if they choose the kit it will show that there are now 3 pritts in stock. Of course if it is still in quote stage the stock will show 5 but once processed it will show 3 pritts.

I hope I'm making sense here. Problem they are having is that it takes too much time to generate a quote containing each and every item in the kits, ends up being pages of items. Is there a way this can be done?

I looked in evolution and I see something called packs but this does not contain anything, see attached.

    Hi MissingLink

    Sure, no problem

    Do the following

    1. Capture all the invoice will all the transaction lines you need

    2. Don't capture any customer account at all

    3. When done, simply click the Save button at the top

    4. Then click Yes on this messge prompt

    5. Finally, when you now want to start making use of the template, open a new Invoice, click the Open button at the top to open the Invoice Maintenance screen and then filter on the Template option

    6. When done click the Find button on the right to reveal your filer search results

    7. If you find the template you're looking for, double click on it to bring it to the main Invoice transaction screen

    8. Continue as normal processing in this screen, adding the customer, correct prices etc and process when done.

    Kind regards

    Bennie
