Let's show you how to perform a Full Copy Company routine.

A Copy Company routine should prove helpful for especially to following two reasons.

a) You need to work in a 'demo' environment of your live company. But  you don't have access to MS SQL Management Studio in which a backup can be restored as a new database name e.g. 'DEMO' 

b) You need to create a new company but want to keep all the master records of the current live company. 

This article explicitly discuss a Full Copy Company which means all master records and transaction history will be copied to the new company database created in the process, but in if you only want the master records to be copied over, select the Selective Copy option (in stead of Full Copy) - refer the the article in teh link below
