Sage 200 / Netcash integration

SOLVED

We are using Sage 200 V 10.1.1.001. We want to make use of the Netcash account integration to import of our Netcash transactions through the Bank manager module. We have a main and a sub account with Netcash. Is there a way to upload more than one account from Netcash as the setup under "Company Details > Netcash" only makes provision for one account and one Service Key

    Hi Rikus

Please confirm why do you have a main and sub-account with Netcash?

Also, please forgive the 'stupid' question (Grinning) , but why can't you simply use the one main account from Netcash in your company? Why do you need to use both the main and sub-account?

    Kind Regards

    Hi Bennie

The main and sub-account relates to two different units within the business which is managed and monitored separately. The one unit has an inhouse customer portal that interface directly with Netcash Paynow while the other makes use of Sage 200's Netcash integration. This requires two separate accounts as the URLs between the two processes differ. But as both units relate to the same legal entity, both is incorporated into the general ledger of a single Sage 200 company.

Another example of why you would make use of a sub-account, is if you need to separate the collections from the payment process. You might have different people working on the collections and the payments and don't want it mixed up into a single account.

    Thanks

    Thanks Rikus

The only solution I can think of is running a Online Branch Accounting setup over two branches. But I believe that may not be viable to accomplish. Then you can at least enter separate Netcash Service Keys in each branch's Company Details screen.

There is only one space where to enter the Netcash Service keys (Common | Company Details) and that means only one Netcash account per Service key.

    Kind Regards
