To confirm:

All the reports in Evolution has been designed to not accept any foreign /custom created views or any objects. The design principle here is that all views in all of the reports are closed to any externally created DB objects.

That explains why your custom parameterized stored procedure is not available.

Apparently the foreign/custom views can be added as data source in Report Writer. We have successfully implemented the solution in multiple projects. However I'm having doubt with stored procedure and functions and so it is confirmed.

O I see, you are referring to the Common | Reports | Report Write setup of new custom reports
