Windows Server 2019 has three editions: Essentials, Standard

Can you please advice on the SAGE 200 V 10.1.3.008 Compatibility with,

01)  Windows Server 2019 - Essentials, Standard editions or the most suitable Server type other than Windows Server 2016?

02) Compatibility with SQL 2019 Server - Standard

Best, if you could provide an updated SAGE Product vs App Recommendation matrix for easy reference.

Thanks,

Indika

    Hi Indika

I'll just have to confirm with the Evolution Development Department about Windows Server 2019 - Essentials

But I can confirm that Evolution ver 10 and 11 is fully compatible with Windows Server 2019 - Standard edition and SQL 2019 Server - Standard

    Kind Regards

    My pleasure, Indika

I had a discussion with Evolution Development and their answer was:

Sage hasn't formally tested any Evolution version working with Windows Essentials so there is unfortunately not a 100% guarantee that we can confirm on its suitability for Evolution.

Having said that, Evolution should still work fine on it considering the basic specs of Essentials.

But, we must stress that you should rather still test it yourself to ensure you're entirely satisfied with Evolution's behaviour using Windows Essentials.

I wish this was a cut and dry answer but as with using any kind of new systems (e.g. Windows Essentials)  it should be properly tested.

    Kind Regards
