Convert Service Items in to Warehouse Manufacturing Items

Hi Bennie,

Sage Evolution 200 - Version : 10.1.3.008

Like to clarify whether we can convert a Current Service Item in to Manufacturing Item with BOM using SAGE "Inventory > Maintenance > Warehouse Utility" Option.

WH Utility,

Item Master upon Conversion doesn't enable UOM & remains as a Service Item even after Inventory re-link.

    Hi Indika

    Evolution allows you to convert Service Tems to be be Warehouse Items but in essence, they still remain Service Items.

    This works as per its design and is not a software bug.

    You'll also notice that once a Service Item has been saved as such and processed on, you cannot unselect the Service Item option box status on the Item Maintenance screen.
